A subaward from APIN Public Health Initiatives termed iCARES. The aim of the award is to mitigate the multi – dimensional and acute impacts of HIV/AIDS infection through the provision of holistic facility, community based care and support services. The interventions contribute to the UNAIDS 2020 goals to address the structural drivers of HIV epidemic. The project has the following objectives

  1. Sustain comprehensive care and treatment services through public and private health facilities, ensure effective task sharing within expanded care networks, and improve efficiency and patient experiences.
  2. Reduce structural and systemic barriers that impede service delivery for priority, general and key populations presented by the other five building blocks of the health system.
  3. Employ technology solutions to improve service delivery efficiency and strengthen the HIV care continuum to ensure longitudinal patient monitoring and tracking
